Recommended Tackle: Rods: 7-9 ft. in 3-6 weight. Rod length and size depends on the stream and the type of fishing we will do. A 9 foot 5 weight is a good all around size. Call or e-mail for insect hatch information and suggested flies.
Chest waders are recommended for the larger streams. Hip waders can be used on the smaller creeks.

Clothing: A good hat with a brim and Polarized sunglasses will be very helpful for locating fish and they will help protect you from the sun. Sunblock is always recommended for those bright sunny days, but keep it off of your fly line and flies. Missouri's weather can vary a great deal from day to day, especially in the spring and fall. During the winter, layering with fleece or wool under waterproof/wind shells is suggested. Dry bags will be available to store extra gear.
